Travel, holiday, vacation
and adventure questions
Have your students been on holiday recently? Perhaps where they are now is their holiday. In any case, asking about their holiday is pretty natural. But after several lessons and countless students it can be hard to remember what to ask. So here is a quick vacation guide. If any of your students have been travelling around the world or just taking a break in your area, this is for you!
If you can find out where they went before you have the lesson this would give you the impetus to read up on their hotel location and mention some points about it.
For example: "So you went to Paris, France! Did you see the Mona Lisa in the Louvre?" Use the questions for discussion and make sure you build on what they are talking about before moving on to the next question.
Keeping the student interested while having the English conversation practice lesson is key so if their holiday was a disaster, you'll need other back up subjects for the lesson!
